On Friday 9th April at 8:15 pm, my wife, daughter and I along with a couple of friends had the pleasure eating at the Ginger Room. From the moment we entered our experience was fantastic. I had booked for four people and at the last moment an addition person turned up. The maître d’ was excellent offering us the table in the members’ area. We felt very special.
My wife and I had the degustation menu, my friends and daughter ordered a la carte. In every case the meals were exquisite. My daughter ordered the Semolina gnocchi but unfortunately did not realise at the time that ‘porcini’ are mushrooms, a vegetable to which she is allergic. A simple request to the maître d’ and another Semolina gnocchi was provided (with a garlic sauce) without any fuss. We cannot begin to tell you how very appreciative we are of your restaurant fixing up a mistake made by us.
